Join our efforts to give young people a voice in our community! SBYD is a social organization for young professionals to connect, organize in local elections, and make change in our community.
Did you know that SBYD has a seat on the Santa Barbara County Democratic Party Committee? We get a vote on all matters that come before the committee, which means that our organization allows young people to actively participate in local politics, gain valuable experience, and build community around our progressive values.
We invite you to join as a new member or renew your membership! Your membership will ensure that your values are represented in local and state politics. As a member, you will help SBYD shape the political landscape of our community.

GOTV Kickoff
Ballots will go out to voters the 1st week of October! On Saturday, October 12th at 10:00 AM, join SBYD for our GOTV Kickoff! Help get out the vote for Kamala Harris and our endorsed local candidates before the November 5th Election.
We'll knock on doors, talk to voters, and then kick back with beer and snacks afterward. Whether you're a canvassing pro or just jumping in, it's all about making a difference and having fun. Grab some friends, wear comfy shoes, and bring your energy!
